History of Penedo Borges

Founded by Felipe Rutini in 1885, the wineries and vineyards enjoy a reputation of respect and innovation in producing unique wines of the highest quality.

Geograpy, Climate, Soils

There are three vineyards, ranging in altitude from 1000 to 1500 meters above sea level, and comprising 250 hectares of stony soils.

An average annual temperature of 14° C, little rain, over 250 sunny days per year with low humidity and the difference in day and night temperatures creative coveted microclimates that consistently produce grapes of exceptional quality.
